But I just want to say thanks for all your time and effort you gave to us over the years to give us a place to race with street cars! I know it wasn't easy this year with sponsorship but at the end of the day you were always right there writing checks! That is HUGE and very much appreciated! Big thanks to all the MSRA guys that stepped up to help make this year happen! This is where I got my start in legal street racing in DOT years ago and its been a blast! I think yesterdays LDR class showed just how in tune you are with rules to create a level playing field (without weights) so N/A and power adder cars can compete together. That had to be some great racing from the stands. Congrats on a job well done and thanks again! Marc McCloud

Posts: 250 10/11/09 10:30 AM	Have to agree with ya Marc.....Even this year when people said they were coming and still didnt show, Matt kept his head up high and ran a great racing series. Ken and Matt started it all in the area in my opinion. For that a huge thanks for many years of great service and racing which so many copied there own after. Hopefully with some of the talks yesterday the MSRA will continue on with some help from new faces. Thanks again to Matt Jewell for all you have done!!!!!

Although I only attended a few races this year, I truly enjoy racing in the association. You have a well run association, Great bunch of racers and close competition in all classes. Posts: 639 10/11/09 12:52 PM	Yep, Matt has really put alot of time and effort into the MSRA deal. I've done my best to support his efforts over the years. This season I really regret not having my shyt together to be in a position to show my support in 1009. If anything, Matt was one of the best grass roots street car organizations out there. It might have been small compared to some orgs, but was surely appreciated by those of us who wanted something local to run that was low cost and fun. Great group of racers as well. I made many good friends through the MSRA. thanks Matt!!!

I'm sure this same effort will keep Local Street Racing fun and competitive for years to come. Always a great bunch of racers making things happen for themselves.

I'm sorry to have not had the time over the last two years to continue to assist with what he started. It seems however as though everyone has gotten along just fine! I hope to see you all again in the future. Perhaps as first round fodder in some local 275 races, or at some 10.0 event.

Posts: 225 10/24/09 05:45 PM	I always had great time racing with the MSRA. From my first race to my last race It was always a blast. I also made some very good friends racing with this organization. Sad part is I did not make it to one event this year,between honey doo's at the house and my boss Todd keeping me busy helping him at the track testing LOL, I didn't make it to one. Matt and ken I thank you both.
