Curious how many are going to chase Mike Beach next year in 6.50 action at 75/80, or are looking to make the drive to Cecil to run 10.00.Anyone going to step up to a quicker class? It is always a long winter, plenty of time to change your minds.

I see how you are. No You Tube video over here showing off that wheelie from this weekend. If you could some MPH togehter with that launch, you'd be getting close to 9.50's. Car looks good. Rob Ward said something about possibly selling the motor out of the truck, but he is probably full of $hit.

What else can you say. Kevin Fournier has been here before, but showed why he will be a repeat DOT Points Champion. With a small lead ahead of myself and Chris Steele, Kevin Comes out and runs 2 passes of 10 flat over the course of the day, taking #1 qualifier and the win, and showing that he wasn't going to play it safe with a points lead, but beat everyone else who showed up. Great Job Kevin, and Chris Steele on the Runner Up Finish.

Only a few days away. Who is Coming? I have to bring the Cougar back out to finish the season. How about a couple of blower cars? Green Monte Carlo and a Green Nova. For this last race it would be great to hear some blowerr Whine. Always nice to have those good looking Mopars in action. How about PA racers Mike Fortney and Mike Peacock. Haven't seen that wheelie S10 in a while. I'll have to review my lists and start to make some shout outs.

Bob Walker will tell you, don't have to be the quickest if your 1st crossing the stripe. 2 hole shot rounds gave him a win in his 1st ever DOT event. Great job.

Roots blowers, coilovers, 10.5'' slicks OK

Alot of rule changes have yet to be taken advantage of this season. Roots blowers with 2x4 carbs are OK. Ladder bars and coilovers with stock rear frame rails are OK. Single StageFoggers with multile solenoids are OK.10.5'' Slicks (non W Tire) are OK with a power adder. I'm going to have to start calling out some guys by name by the end of the week.

Funny thing about rules

Remember last year when we were hearing complaints about DOT being so restrictive. We opened up rules regarding number of solenoids, allowed slicks in most popular 9-10.5'' tread sizes for all combos, allowed coilovers/ladder bars for suspension, multiple carbs for roots blowers,etc. Guess how many extra cars it has brought in....1. So we have 3 races left, and for anyone that complained last year, or "knew this guy who couldn't run....", time to man up. I know times...

It looks like we will be 2 racers short on Sunday, as it appears Mike Beach and Rob Ward won't be able to attend. So if you know someone that hasn't raced with us this year and has a legal car, give them a ring and see if they can be pursueded. We can use all the help we can get.
