Area tracks close this weekend.Saturday at cecil county and sunday at atco are the last test and tune locally till next year.Neither will probadly open since highs are expected just in the 30s.Thats to bad i was looking forward to one more shot this year.I found a problem with the mustang i have corrected and know it is worth some et and mph.Is anyone planing on giving it one last shot?

With more of you guys getting into the 8's On Motor and on Radilas, how long will it be before something pops up with more open rules? Post up your best N/A E.T and info.
I know the following have made it into the 8's-

Todd Geisler
Perky
Mike Barry
Marc McCloud
Kevin Fournier

Who else? Anyone else building cars to go in this direction?Maybe ladder bar cars that could jump in as well that currently run slicks. Brian Morrison is stock style...

The adjustments made to the rear suspension on friday really instilled some confidance in me.all three of my runs were in the eights and i'm even looking at the tach at the finish line.I still need to nail it out of the hole but these are the numbers.1.372 60 ft. 3.729 330 ft. 5.695 1/8 mile 125.67mph 7.39 1000 ft. 8.831 1/4 mile 154.46 mph. I hope to get out one more time this year.

The MSRA's own Bill "Perky" Perkins picked up the win last night at MIR. The World Cup was absolutely nuts with the amount of cars and spectators. From the first round draggin the bumper and going 9.20's to the second round with his first 8 second pass. 8.91 to be exact and it was about as picture perfect as you could ask for. Congrats Perk you have definitely earned it.

Finally after many times out with the new car i'm making progress.It still is going left out of the gate and i have 4 degrees timing out but here are the numbers.1.366 60 ft., 3.767 330,5.766 1/8 mile 123mph,7.501 1000ft, 8.928 1/4 mile 155 mph.

Car starting to come aroud alittle went 8.98 @ 154 with no change in the car but air pressure in the tires was raised, motor tune the same as it started this season

MPC will be having a Cruise In/Open House again on Nov. 14th. I plan to have our plaques ready for the Top 3 of each class available at this event, and we will have food and drinks available to all attending. It will run from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and all are welcome to attend.Also we will be offering a swap meet area in the rear parking area of our shop, but you will need to call me to reserve a spot.
